Open Water Swimming at Foxlake as a safe and secure environment to get into the sport of open water swimming! Whether you are a beginner to the sport, training for your first event or possibly even in training for IronMan Edinburgh 70.3 in July… the lake at Foxlake will cater to your needs.

Our sessions allow swimmers to train in a controlled environment, allowing you to focus on your session without worrying about tides or currents. The lake allows for a 300m loop that all swimmers will follow, with a safety kayak and further staff supervision from shore.

NOWCA Safety Wristband

We now ask that all of our swimmers wear a NOWCA safety wristband (link below) while in the water. In order to purchase your own NOWCA safety wristband, simply follow the online instructions, pay £12.00 for your wrist band for this season (includes your first swim) and collect your band on site prior to your swim. By having all of our swimmers wearing NOWCA safety wrist bands, it allows us to know who is in the water at all times and access to important emergency contact details should be require them.
